Who we are
The Dating Desk is run by CHANGE ME, a small team based in CHANGE ME. We have been working in online dating and performance marketing since CHANGE ME. We are not affiliated with any of the dating sites we review.

How we test
For every site we list, someone on the team registers a real account, completes a profile, and uses the site the way a normal user would for at least an hour, including hitting the paywall deliberately to see what it costs and what it unlocks.
We score five things out of ten:
- Sign-up — how long registration takes, what it demands, and how aggressively it upsells.
- Profiles — how many active people there are within a realistic distance, how recently they logged in, and whether the profiles read as real.
- Value — the real cost of the shortest paid plan, what the free tier allows, and how easy it is to cancel.
- Mobile — whether it works properly on a phone, which is how most people use it.
- Safety — verification, blocking and reporting, privacy defaults, and how the charge appears on a bank statement.
The overall score is the average of those five. Nothing else moves it.
What we do not do
We do not publish a review of a site nobody on the team has used. We do not quote member numbers supplied by the site's marketing team. We do not sell placement, and a higher commission does not move a site up a list — if it did, the rankings would be worthless to you and the site would be worth nothing to us within a year.
How we make money
Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may receive a commission from that site. It never changes what you pay. Full detail is on our affiliate disclosure page.
Corrections
Sites change their pricing and features constantly, and we will sometimes be out of date or wrong. If you spot something, email us and we will check it and update the page. We date every page with its last update so you can see how fresh it is.
